Since September 24, Huashida has commenced shipment of the DN6600 LSAW pipe internal FBE & external cement mortar coating system. Shipment operations kept running even during the national holiday period. With most equipment delivered to site, Huashida has dispatched a full strength technical team to the project location in Guangdong to launch on site installation and commissioning.
DN6600 stands for extra large diameter steel pipe. Conventional coating equipment struggles to balance uniform internal FBE powder application and sound forming quality for external cement mortar lining. Huashida’s custom built system features dual station coordinated operation. The internal FBE spray unit precisely controls powder deposition to deliver a continuous, dense fusion bonded epoxy coating on pipe inner surfaces. Offering outstanding corrosion and permeation resistance, the coating is well suited for internal anti corrosion requirements of long distance water transmission pipelines.
The external cement mortar spraying system delivers stable high volume material feeding together with automatic trowelling & forming. It produces evenly thick mortar layers that cure into high strength protective cladding, effectively shielding steel pipes against erosion from surrounding soil and groundwater.
During this on site commissioning assignment, Huashida’s technical team will carry out mechanical connection, electrical joint debugging, trial production and specimen testing. All performance indicators for the internal FBE coating and external cement mortar lining will be verified against relevant engineering specifications. Once fully commissioned, the plant will mass produce finished anti corrosive DN6600 LSAW steel pipes and support local water conservancy infrastructure development.
