Due to the escalation of tensions in the Middle East on February 28, which disrupted shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, the delivery of a Φ1620 3LPE Steel Pipe Anti-Corrosion Coating Production Line originally scheduled for a customer in Qatar had to be postponed. After extensive consultations, Huashida and the customer jointly adopted a multimodal logistics solution combining sea and land transportation. Starting on July 20, the complete production line was shipped over four consecutive days in a total of 16 containers.
The customer is a leading UAE-based multinational company specializing in anti-corrosion solutions for long-distance oil and gas transmission pipelines. This production line was specifically purchased for its Qatar branch.
Huashida's Φ1620 3LPE coating line features advanced technologies for high-speed coating of large-diameter steel pipes and superior coating adhesion. The equipment successfully passed rigorous inspections conducted by TÜV-appointed inspectors and has been recognized as the First Major Technical Equipment in Shandong Province, incorporating multiple proprietary technologies protected by national patents.
Despite the challenging international situation, Huashida worked closely with the customer to overcome logistical obstacles. The successful shipment of the complete production line not only demonstrates Huashida's reliable delivery capabilities but also fulfills its firm commitment to the customer.
