After winning a bid for a new oil pipeline project in Atyrau, Kazakhstan, the General Manager of a local pipeline anti-corrosion company recorded a video call with Mr. Huang Baodong, Chairman of Qingdao Huashida Machinery Co., Ltd., expressing his appreciation for Huashida’s technical support throughout the bidding process. The company plans to immediately sign a contract with Huashida for the purchase of double-layer internal anti-corrosion coating equipment for steel pipes, marking another milestone in the nearly ten-year partnership between the two companies.
The cooperation between the two companies began with the purchase of Huashida’s 3PE steel pipe anti-corrosion coating equipment. To date, the customer has purchased four sets of the equipment, enabling the company to grow into a well-known manufacturer of anti-corrosion coated steel pipes in the local market.
Upon learning about the new oil pipeline project, the customer immediately sought technical support from Huashida. The customer’s team visited Qingdao for detailed discussions on the proposed solution. However, due to changes in the factory dimensions and access routes, Mr. Huang Baodong personally led a team to Kazakhstan for an on-site assessment.
Taking into consideration the available factory space, process flow, coating curing time, and other key technical parameters, the two sides reviewed and refined multiple plant layout options through repeated technical discussions. The final design was ultimately confirmed, providing strong technical support that contributed to the customer’s successful bid for the project.
