Driven by market demand and supported by its High-End Equipment Expert Workstation, Qingdao Huashida Machinery Co., Ltd. has successfully developed a high-speed intelligent 3PE steel pipe coating production line with a maximum coating capacity of 800 m²/h, delivering performance comparable to leading technologies from the United States and the Netherlands.
While conventional 3PE coating lines typically achieve 200–250 m²/h, Huashida responded to a Saudi customer's requirement for an 800 m²/h production rate without compromising cost-effectiveness. After more than one year of dedicated R&D, the company successfully overcame key technical challenges in large-diameter pipe coating, coating adhesion stability, and intelligent automation. The production line fully complies with API, EN, and ISO standards, with multiple performance indicators reaching internationally advanced levels.
Equipped with a PLC-based intelligent control system, the production line integrates shot blasting, induction heating, epoxy powder spraying, PE coating, and cooling into a fully automated process. It offers high efficiency, low energy consumption, reduced maintenance requirements, and stable operation. With a production capacity up to 800 m²/h—2–3 times the industry average—the line supports steel pipe diameters from Φ25 mm to Φ4200 mm, providing a high-performance solution for global pipeline anti-corrosion manufacturing.
