On March 2, the technical team led by Huang Baodong, Chairman of Qingdao Huashida Machinery Co., Ltd., successfully entered Saudi Arabia with the help of a UAE client to develop the 3PE steel pipe anti-corrosion production line market. The team traveled frequently between Riyadh and Dammam, conducting in-depth technical discussions with five clients and designing tailored solutions. With technology comparable to that of Europe and the United States, but at only half the cost, Huashida gained strong interest from all clients for priority cooperation.
During the return trip, the situation suddenly became tense. Flights were repeatedly delayed and even canceled. Due to Dammam’s proximity to the Persian Gulf and Bahrain—where a major U.S. military base is located—regional conflicts disrupted civil aviation, and the airport was even temporarily cleared. Fortunately, the team had заранее booked a backup flight from Riyadh. They quickly changed plans, traveled to Riyadh, and successfully boarded a flight back to Beijing.
On the evening of the 15th, after 19 days, the team safely returned to Qingdao. This experience deeply impressed upon them the value of peace and stability at home, strengthening their appreciation for life in China.
